It all began with an antique, four-piece cruet set that was missing its main pieces: the glass dispensers for oil and vinegar. The aim was to make replacement containers in the design of the surviving salt and pepper shakers, which resemble old Venetian chimneys. The combination of old and new, of glass and porcelain, highlights the unique characteristics of each piece, as well as the unity of the pieces of this set.
