The beech-wood bed was designed for four-year-old Mara. It has wooden panels on three sides, which gives the young girl a cosy nook in her bedroom to withdraw into her own little world. Thanks to the various small figures that are cut into the wooden panels, Mara can also use the bed as a climbing wall. When she goes to bed, she can see the shadows of the cut-out figures on the wall. The drawers under the mattress provide space for storing her bedding and toys.
